New Construction Checklist
- Complete the KLPD New Construction Service Application.
- Schedule an appointment with the General Foreman for timeline and response to general questions.
The General Foreman will plan a site visit.
Associated costs for new services will be compiled and calculated.
A contract and an estimate of proposed work will be generated if applicable.
Review, sign, and return contract along with payment in full of estimate invoice.
Upon receipt of signed contract and full payment of estimate invoice, the job will be scheduled in order received, time expected to perform the task, and complexity.
- Electrician or responsible party must contact the applicable town electrical inspector for site visit.
- The town electrical inspector must notify KLPD to inform them that the premises passed inspection.
- KLPD will energize and initiate service.
