The Interconnection Agreement and Solar Power Registration Form must be completed prior to the commencement of the solar project.  A representative from KLPD will contact you to discuss your solar project further.  You will be advised as to the next steps in the process and a site visit will be scheduled.  During that visit, any questions you might have will be addressed.  The Net Metering Agreement will be discussed at that time.

The Net Metering Agreement is to be submitted to Kennebunk Light & Power District prior to the commencement of the installation of a solar power system within the District.   

The Net Metering Agreement will be fully executed at the completion of the installation, after the applicable town code enforcement officer has certified the project.   Only then will your solar project to be energized.
