Power Outage & Safety Information
Power outages and electrical damage can present serious safety hazards. If you are experiencing a power outage or notice damaged electrical equipment, please contact Kennebunk Light & Power District so we can respond safely and appropriately.
Electrical Safety Comes First
Always assume downed power lines are energized.
Stay clear of fallen wires, trees in contact with lines, damaged poles, and flooded areas near electrical equipment.
Never attempt to move wires or debris yourself. Report dangerous electrical conditions immediately by phone.
If there is an immediate, life-threatening emergency, call 911 first.
