Launch Date: March 30, 2026

Mark your calendars! On March 30, 2026, we're launching our brand-new SmartHub mobile app and web portal. This powerful new system is designed to make your life easier, with features that help you save time, manage your account effortlessly, and even reduce costs.

Payment Options During Transition

As we transition to our new SmartHub system, some payment options will be temporarily unavailable. During this time, payments can be made via phone at (207) 985-3311, mail, or our drop box. For the most current information on available payment methods, please contact our office.

Current AutoPay Users — Action Required

If you currently use automatic payments, you will need to re-enter your payment information in SmartHub after March 30. Registration and AutoPay setup instructions will be provided once SmartHub is live.

Yes. All critical information is encrypted in every transaction, and no personal information is stored on your phone or tablet.

Important Security Note: Mobile devices offer you the ability to store your login information for apps installed on the device. If you choose to store your login information, any person who has access to your mobile device can access your account. We recommend using device passcodes and biometric authentication (fingerprint/face recognition) for additional security.

Both platforms provide the same core functionality. The key difference is that the mobile app is designed for on-the-go access and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

No. You can continue to pay your bill as you currently do. We offer multiple payment options including phone, mail, in-person, and drop box.

Yes. SmartHub shows all of your accounts and allows you to make payments to single or multiple accounts from both the website and mobile app.

The information is shown in real-time. However, if you keep your app or browser open for an extended time, you should refresh to ensure the information is current.

KLPD will NEVER call or email you to ask for: Credit card numbers, bank routing numbers, Social Security numbers, or passwords.

If you receive such communication, please report it immediately by calling us at (207) 985-3311.

No. All customers will receive new account numbers. Your old account number will no longer be valid after March 30, 2026.

You'll receive your new account number via Welcome Email (if we have your email) starting March 30, or on your April billing statement.
