The Solar Power Registration Form and the Interconnection Application are to be submitted to Kennebunk Light & Power District prior to the commencement of the installation of a solar power system within the District. Upon receipt, a representative from KLPD will contact you to discuss your solar project further. You will be advised as to the next steps in the process, a site visit will be scheduled, and any additional questions that you may have will be answered at that time.
The Net Metering Agreement will also need to be submitted to Kennebunk Light & Power District prior to the commencement of the installation of a solar power system within the District. The Net Metering Agreement will be fully executed after the applicable town's Code Enforcement Officer has certified the installation. Only after receipt of these completed forms and certification of approval from the Code Enforcement Officer will your solar power system be energized.
